They have it easy.

Hey dolls!

I can't help but wonder how we survive seeing that we live in today's shallow, materialistic and judgmental world we live in. Of course its easy for those with girls with striking features, tall and slender, like a thousand artists sculpted their face when their born. And of course we have its male counterpart with muscular bodies, sexy smirk and their faces ala the Korean eyecandies or Italian prince. Your pretty much set for the future if your in one of those categories of Greek gods and or goddesses. Everything is just so simple, easy, effortless. They don't need to work hard for anything, beautiful hair?, inviting smile?, pretty eyes? oh and the all time favorite..perfect porcelain skin?!. well guess what! they were born with it!! Im not saying these people are evil but some of them who are, they find it easy to make people succumb to their needs just by flashing a smile or waving at them. And of course a typical social climber who long to become popular would follow whatever they ask them to say even though they treat them like a pile of crap. sad but true!

But for mere mortals like me, you basically have to work hard at everything! Whipping your ass off studying to get excellent results, working out to get a buff body, spending trillions of dollars on cosmetics and facial wash alone just to look as good as them, doing research on how to be bubbly and funny. Reading books, doing research and brushing up on your personality just to survive the beautiful yet cruel world. Sad but true. Beautiful people works a fraction less than people like me. Sometimes i need to get that extra edge, that extra something a ripe cherry on top of that ice cream as they say, just to compete against these gorgeous beauties.

If you proudly disagree on this most blogged about thery well look at it this way.

Your interviewing for a new position in your huge firm and then you saw this two women with similar quality in their resume and one of them looks like a supermodel fresh off the runway and one of them looks like a regular girl, a plane jane, the girl next door like literally the girl you see next door. I would bet on my money that you would pick the gorgeous bi*ch instead of the plain girl.

Still not convinced??

Here's another situation, if you see 2 guys selling the same product, and one of them looks like a professional footballer that plays for MU and the other one looks like a regular bloke. its the same as the previous situation where you would pick the footballer over the regular bloke just because he looks good. If you said NO, eff off lah, i would proudly say to your face that you are lyin!

Sit down and contemplate my discussion and leave your comment if you like oppose!

Feels like time is running out

Assalamualaikum dear readers!

So i finally got to chat with my friend after a long time that i haven't been chatting with him, maklumlah i've been busy, he's been busy so that pretty much sums it up. So yeah since the big O is coming it feels like time is running out, i know time is flying by faster than ever everything just feels so, somewhat..sudden. Like i was in form one and i was still pudgy and short and now im in form 5. All grown up!. Damn how i miss those days where you need not to worry about form 6, universities, occupation, getting good results on everything, what subs to take, where to go next, drivers license or even those things where you contemplate 'have i achieved this and that'.

Maybe i worry too much or maybe its one of those days, idk. I live sort of a carefree lifestyle,or at least tried to. I still have things to handle, stuff to do, food to eat, jokes to tell, pointing and laughing at people who think i give a damn of what they say. And that to me barely scratches the tip of the iceberg of my long to-do lists, and the time is like running out and im still going slow. Sometimes i just want to run away from this pile of crap but this is reality i just gotta face them. I got my own way of handling them some of them are cry because your laughing, dance like no one's watching, laughing at the most random and the darnest things and of course to always savor every moment in life like savoring the last piece of chocolate.

And remember when life gives you 100 reasons to cry, show them 1000 reason to smile. or you could let them out and cry THEN you stand back up and smile for the whole universe to see.

It's so colorful!

Assalamualaikum!

I just got home from the mosque, sembahyang raya of course! And this morning was simply beautiful. The mosque was soo colorful, i meant the people lah, well actually the cara melayu! You can see like thousands, well no, maybe hundreds of different color, ranging from simple white to electric blue to dark grey and honey yellow. And never to forget the air it smelled like Nazmi, no i meant it literally smelled like Nazmi y'knw the kadai kain ah! This showed that obviously everyone is wearing new clothes, fresh off the Indians hands from the tailor shop. We must be grateful because were so lucky that we can afford new clothes the best money can buy in fact. WE should never forget the less fortunate too. After all Hari Raya is for all muslims of different race, backgrounds and social statuses. NO matter how rich you are, how pretty or handsome you are, tall, short, petite, gigantic it doesnt atter as long as your muslim.

I'd love to scribble more about raya telling you how beautiful it is and sometimes even magical but i got my family too y'knw. So many places to visit so little time.

Selamat Hari Raya!

Assalamualaikum!

I finally updated my blog after a long hiatus. I have a bunch of stories to blog about. Infact i have tons!! As you all know that Brunei celebrated the Eid mubarak on Monday. I was urged to continue my never ending story of my reckless but beautiful life because i was reading bunch of excellent blogs. Lets just say i was 'inspired'.

Right after we break fast this evening i immediately opened my facebook and wrote a "not so funny but i intended it to be funny" note about how i apologize about stuff i did all year long. As you muslims know that Hari Raya is the best time to
apologize.

And just now i realized that im a wallflower incase you are not familiar with that term, it means a person who are very shy and they usually blend in with regular and less interesing crowd but these types of people are very interesting and fun to talk to and of course very memorable to a certain point that you might even fall in love with them. okay falling in love sounds extreme but its in the territory of such, aaah infatuation! thats the word.

Manchester united won by one point thanks to Rooney-Fletcher-Fletcher-Owen. i only wathed the 2nd half of the game though, y'knw raya prep. But credits to Owen cos he scored the winning goal, i gave up hope and i was cursing Berbatov cos he attempted like too many but not one goal and Ferdinand cos he was the one that i saw that made Bellamy score well idk what really happened but i blame Ferdinand!! well use to. i can rant all night long but i chose not to! :D

I'd love to continue but im ever so tired to type and my eyes are sleepy oh and my stupid windows live messenger is not working like wtf! During this lovely time of year i don't want to rant or talk crap because i want to be a better person than i am before! fyi i kept pressing the letter 'W' which is like why, and im currently overusing the backspace button due to a disease i call typo!

Before i got i'd love to say Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and i know this is the time to enjoy ourselves but bear in mind that the exams are coming!
