Traditional food.

What's hello in malay?

I didn't do much today, i spent half of the day sleeping away my youth, dreaming of, wait, actually i have no dream this afternoon.

But what im really here to talk about is what im currently snacking on, it's this traditional malay dessert or cracker i don't really know. It's called Kuih Lidah i know it sounds weird but this traditional delicacy is actually scrumptious, i give you that much. I don't ever recall eating them but maybe i have had this before but i just forgot about it. My aunt gave us this sugary treats, i think she made them. My mom also bought it cause it was good. As we all know, i am quiet the foodie, especially if we're talking about desserts. I know some of you might have not even heard of this or some are just too snobby to care about traditional Bruneian delicacy. I mean yea i might not be the poster child for traditional food cause i myself are not 100% into malay food but atleast i don't ignore them or even worse, disgusted by them like some of you might be, im not pointing fingers at anybody. It's safe to say that i have had encounters with these kind of people. It's healthy for us malay, (pure, half, partly or ngakun-ngakun non-malay) to try them. Like they say, What you don't know may surprise you. I mean it's not gonna hurt to try what our ancestors have given us. After all, these traditional food stands the task of time, how many of the modern food get pass 2 years or maybe even 3?. Okay i think that;s enough about traditional food, but all im asking is, don't ignore our traditional food.

Below is the traditional food im talking about, i took this picture from the internet, so what im actually eating has a different texture to it than that on the image. Still it's the same thing.
I think.
Kuih Lidah

Fact of the day
The world record for the number of body piercing on one individual is 702, which is held by Canadian Brent Moffat.

Note: I saw the picture of this dude and i don't think i would want it to be on my blog, so if you want to see him just google his name, they have plenty.
