Hey!
Today was fun. I went out with Kaka Iqah for movies. She picked me up around 10:30. We went to SRPM first to drop off the file my aunt asked her to bring. Then straight to UBD then off to the mall right after. Upon arriving, we went to the cineplex to get tickets then after that we went to Mister Pizza to feast on the worst chicken pizza ever! Trust me when i say that.
Anyways, we watched Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The lightning thief. It's a film adaptation of the book written by Rick Riordan called the lightning thief. This movie was directed by Chris Columbus the director of Harry Potter. It was a good movie. I'd give it 8 stars. I adore the visual effect, it was superb. It's like you can't see that it was fake. The storyline keeps you biting your finger nail and most importantly they had fun with the Greek mythology which made the movie even more enjoyable to watch. It's like your watching a movie and learning at the same time. Let me tell you something since i was little i am always fascinated with Greek mythology, their just so fascinating even until now i still read them on wikipedia when i have the mood. Back to the movie, the movie is kind of Harry Potter-ish cause of all the powers and the history, after all it's the same director. I don't really watch movie to find something to criticize about but i usually found something to criticize about a movie, whether it be the storyline or the way they direct them but this time I can't seem to find anything wrong with the movie. I give you that much. And the whole time i was watching Logan Lerman the actor who played Percy Jacskon reminds me of Zac Efron. I don't know why though. Also when i first laid my eyes on Alexandra Daddario the girl who plays Annabeth Chase, i really thought that that was Selena Gomez. I really do.
Right after that we went to Utama bowling, unfortunately we didn't play cause the lane was all booked.
Oh and today i finally received my acceptance letter and the Maktab Duli folder. As of today i am officially a proud student/member of Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah. So proud of myself. I didn't know that their going to be handing out the folder today so i just didn't care. Then when i came home from Utama bowling, my father told me he had picked it up for me. I was hoping that i could pick it up myself and get to meet with my friends for the very last time and at he same time i could pick up my school magazine. Alas i didn't.
And i think it's becoming a habit of mine to change my desktop background every time i watch an interesting movie.
I tried to look for the ones you see on the posters hung everywhere, but i can't find it, well i found one but it has those weird signs in the middle of the picture. But i found another one.
p.s. I tried to blog almost everyday since the last time i updated. But im just always distracted by other stuff.
